Frogger and Lampie

Meet the two newest members of the Romney family. The lovely, green chair, Frogger, and the new lamp shade, Lampie. One day, Mark said, "We need more color in our house." I replied, "You mean more than the bright red couches?" He confirmed with, "Yes." So, during our latest trip to Ikea, we saw what was to be the inspiration of our new added color - Lampie. We didn't buy her right away, because we wanted to think about it first. So, the next day (yes, we went to Ikea twice in one week) we bought her. We also found a chair in the AS IS section and thought, "We can do something special with that chair." We were right. We decided to paint the chair the funky green color to match Lampie. So, I painted and painted and painted and Frogger came to life. While I was painting, John Hunt asked, "Why are you painting that chair?" I said, "Because it used to be an ugly brown color." He came back with, "Well, now it is an ugly green color." Leave it to him to ruin our fun. Ha ha.
